RSC Privacy Policy

How RSC collects, uses and shares information across our websites, the RSC app, Discord services, leagues, tournaments and related tools.

Last updated 16/10/2026

Overview

Rocket Soccar Confederation, also known as RSC, RSC EU and RSC Community, operates online esports leagues, tournaments, community websites, the RSC mobile app for iOS and Android, Discord services and related digital tools.

RSC is the data controller for the information described in this policy. The RSC app is developed for RSC by Hale Digital, which builds and maintains the app on RSC's behalf and does not use your information for its own purposes. You can contact RSC about privacy at rsceurope@hotmail.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have.

By using our websites, the RSC app, Discord services or related platforms, you acknowledge that we may process your information as described below.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following information:

Account and Discord Information

When you log in or interact with RSC through Discord, we may collect:

  • Discord user ID

  • Discord username and display name

  • Discord avatar

  • Discord roles and server membership where needed for permissions

  • Authentication and session information

Username and Password Accounts

If you create an account with a username and password, we collect your username and email address. Your password is never stored directly: we keep only a secure one-way hash of it. Your email is used for sign-in and password resets and is never shown publicly.

Sign in with Apple

If you use Sign in with Apple in the iOS app, we receive a unique Apple user identifier and the email address Apple shares with us, which may be a private relay address if you choose to hide your email. We use these only to sign you in.

Profile Information You Choose to Add

You can add optional details to your profile, such as an avatar, bio, country, date of birth, profile styling and links to social accounts like Twitch, X, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. Your email and date of birth are never shown publicly.

Connected Game and Platform Accounts

When you link a gaming platform account to your RSC profile, we collect the information needed to verify and display that account. Where you connect an account using a platform's official sign-in (for example, Epic Games), we receive and store:

  • Your platform account identifier, such as your Epic Account ID

  • Your platform display name or username

  • The platform type, such as Epic Games, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch

We use a platform's sign-in only to confirm that you own the account and to link it to your RSC profile. We do not receive your platform password, and we request only the minimum profile information required to identify your account. You can unlink a connected account at any time from your account settings.

League and Community Information

To run our leagues and tournaments, we may collect:

  • Player profiles

  • Team, franchise, roster and tier information

  • Sign-up, draft, transfer and availability details

  • Match schedules, results and reports

  • Player statistics and league history

  • Moderation, disciplinary or infraction records where required

Some of this information may be publicly visible on RSC websites, Discord, streams, graphics or social media.

The RSC App

When you sign in to the RSC app, a sign-in token is stored in your device's secure storage (the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore) so you stay signed in. The app may also keep a copy of public league data on your device so it opens quickly. The app does not use advertising identifiers, does not show ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

While you are signed in, the app tells us about the device it runs on so we can deliver notifications and support the app: a random install ID created by the app, the platform (iOS or Android), the operating system and app versions, the device model, whether notifications are allowed, and when you first and last opened the app. If you allow notifications, we also store the push token your device gives us. We keep the notifications we send you, when you read or opened them, and which kinds of notification you chose to receive. Staff of the leagues you play in can see this for their current season's players, to send announcements and to see how the app is used. It is never used for advertising or shared outside RSC, and it is deleted with your account. You can change which notifications you get in the app, or turn them off in your device settings.

Technical Information

When you use our websites, the RSC app or other services, we may collect:

  • IP address

  • Browser and device information

  • Pages visited

  • API requests

  • Error logs

  • Security and performance logs

This helps us keep the services secure, stable and working correctly.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and manage RSC services

  • Allow you to sign in and access your account

  • Run leagues, tournaments, fixtures, rosters and match reporting

  • Display results, standings, statistics and historical records

  • Manage permissions for players, captains, staff and admins

  • Handle support, disputes, moderation and rule enforcement

  • Improve, monitor and secure our websites and services

  • Communicate important league, account or community updates

  • Comply with legal or administrative requirements

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Where UK or EU data protection laws apply, we process information using one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Service delivery: to provide the RSC services you use.

  • Legitimate interests: to operate the league, protect the community, prevent abuse, maintain records and improve our services.

  • Consent: where we ask for permission, such as optional cookies or optional communications.

  • Legal obligation: where we are required to keep or share information by law.

4. Public League Information

RSC is a public competitive community, so some information is intended to be visible publicly.

This may include:

  • Player names or usernames

  • Team and franchise rosters

  • Fixtures and results

  • Standings

  • Player and team statistics

  • Awards and achievements

  • Historical season records

  • Stream, article, graphic or social media content

You should avoid submitting information to public league features that you do not want to be visible.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Authorised RSC staff, admins, moderators, developers and volunteers

  • Service providers who help us host, secure, monitor or operate our services

  • Discord, where Discord login or Discord-based features are used

  • Other third-party platforms where needed for league operations, such as stats, replay, stream or tournament tools

  • Legal or safety authorities where required by law or necessary to protect users, RSC or our services

The service providers we currently use are:

  • Our hosting provider, which runs the RSC website, API and databases

  • Cloudflare, which stores and serves images such as logos and avatars

  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page views and website performance

  • New Relic, which monitors errors and performance and, with your consent, records website sessions

  • Discord, for Discord login and our Discord bots and server

  • Apple, if you use Sign in with Apple

Anyone we share personal information with may use it only to provide their service to RSC, and must protect it to the same standard as this Privacy Policy.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only for as long as needed:

  • Account and profile information: until you delete your account.

  • Support messages: up to 2 years.

  • Technical, error and security logs: up to 90 days.

  • League results, statistics, rosters and awards: kept as part of the league's history. If you delete your account, they are anonymised.

  • Disciplinary records such as bans and offences: until the punishment ends, then up to 2 years, including after account deletion, so banned players cannot return under a new account.

7. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your RSC account at any time, either in the RSC app (open your profile, then Settings, then Delete account) or on the web at rsc-community.com/account-deletion. If you cannot sign in, email rsceurope@hotmail.com from the address on your account, or ask in our Discord.

When your account is deleted, we delete:

  • Your login details: email, password hash and linked sign-in methods such as Discord or Apple

  • Your profile: avatar, bio, country, date of birth, social links and profile styling

  • Your linked game and platform accounts

  • Your roles, permissions, sessions and tokens

  • Your app devices, notification settings and notification history

  • Your league sign-ups, tryout sign-ups and mini-game data

Your past match results, statistics, rosters and awards stay in the league's history so standings and records remain correct, but your name is replaced with "Deleted user" and they are no longer linked to you. Disciplinary records are kept as described above.

Deletion is permanent and is completed within 30 days of your request, usually straight away. Copies in our backups are removed as those backups expire.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, permissions, secure authentication, monitoring, backups and restricted staff access.

No online service is completely secure, but we take steps to protect the information we hold.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access the information we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information

  • Restrict or object to certain processing

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Some requests may not apply to information we need to keep for league integrity, historical records, security, moderation or legal reasons. Where possible, we may anonymise or restrict information instead.

10. Children and Young Users

Our services are not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that this has happened, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.

11. Cookies and Analytics

Cookies and Similar Technologies

RSC uses cookies and similar technologies to provide core website functionality, manage login sessions, protect accounts, prevent abuse, diagnose technical issues and improve the website.

Some cookies and technologies are strictly necessary. These are required for features such as login, authentication, permissions, security, league operations, match reporting, scheduling and basic operational logging. These cannot be disabled through our cookie preferences because the website would not function correctly without them.

With your consent, we may also use optional analytics and performance tools to understand how the website is used, identify errors and improve the user experience.

Where you give consent, we may use session replay tools such as New Relic to help us debug issues and improve the website. Session replay may record interactions such as page navigation, clicks, scrolling and interface behaviour. We aim to avoid collecting sensitive information and use masking or privacy controls where available.

You can accept, reject or manage optional cookies and similar technologies through the cookie banner or Cookie Settings link on the website. You can change your preferences at any time.

12. Third-Party Services

Our services may link to or use third-party platforms such as Discord, Epic Games, Twitch, YouTube, Ballchasing, start.gg, social media platforms, sponsors or other community tools.

These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, we will update the Last updated date. For significant changes, we may also notify users through the website, Discord server or other appropriate channels.
